A Little About Megan

I grew up attending the First Baptist Church of Linwood, KS and accepted Christ and was baptized when I was 8/9 years old. I went through phases during the next ten years when I was really on fire for God and phases when I was what you would call a lukewarm Christian.  As I finished my senior year of high school and entered college, I fell away from my walk with God. Then during my sophomore year of college I started attending a Campus Crusade for Christ Bible study within the scholarship halls at KU. It was about this time that I realized that I needed to get back into church. You could say that I had started “church shopping.” That November my Bible study leader invited me to come to his church and then invited me to a bonfire that the college group was having. That’s when I started attending CBC and the last three and a half years have really been a time of learning about the power of God’s grace and rebuilding the foundations of my faith as well as developing strong Christian friendships that have encouraged me in my walk with the Lord.
