Ladies, our next meeting is scheduled for 7:00 p.m., Thursday, June 26th, at the church. We will have a special guest, Barbara Watkins, who is the Director of the Pregnancy Care Center, which is a ministry through the Leo Center here in Lawrence. Their mission statement is as follows: Pregnancy Care Center of Lawrence, Inc. is a non-profit, non-denominational Christian ministry established for the purpose of reaching out with Jesus’ love to women in the Douglas County area facing unplanned pregnancies. Barbara will be presenting why she has the passion to do the work at the Pregnancy Care Center, and then describe how others can get involved.
